Visit of Secretary Higher Education to GDC Zanskar

The Commissioner/ Secretary, Higher Education/Technical Education and Social & Tribal Welfare Department of UT Ladakh paid a visit to Degree College, Zanskar on 9th May, 2024. She was accompanied by Additional Secretary, Higher Education, Imteeaz Kacho, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Romil Singh Donk and Director, College Affairs Tashi Ldawa. Principal of the College Mohd. Ishaq and faculty members received and welcomed the guests with traditional Khataqs. In his welcome speech, the Principal highlighted the achievements of the college. In her speech, Palzom, a college student, highlighted the opportunities and facilities being provided by the college and also demanded more skill courses, educational tours outside Ladakh and student exchange programs for the benefit of Ladakh the college’s students.
